ESFA Publish 'Academies Financial Handbook 2020'

The Education and Skills Funding Agency have published the 'Academies Financial Handbook 2020'. The 2020 handbook will take effect from 1st September 2020.

One of the key changes in the 2020 handbook includes the requirement for academies and their internal audit programme:-

3.20  Your external auditors can no longer provide your internal audit services (Page 31).
